I’m back finally with a challenge entry… YAY ME! lol..
It has been such a long time since I’ve entered into a challenge.. But I have decided that is going to change!
I have been doing so many swaps and trying to make sure I keep up with my 3 DT commitments that I’ve not had time for challenges.. “LIFE” gets in the way of my crafting.. lol..
I have made the effort to keep up to date with my FAV challenge blogs each month even though I haven’t entered any.. And I’ve even found some new ones.. This LO I’m linking up to a blog I found a couple months ago and just hadn’t got around to entering..
BUT BEFORE I DO THAT —>
**** Just wanted to quickly share with you this adorable photo of my little man Hunter checking out the Helicopter as it lands in the empty park land next to our house… 2 days in a row now it has landed here.. Twice today which was pretty cool!
Red Carpet Studios #55 – Bicentennial Man (use metal)
This LO has also been added to an Aussie facebook group for its October Sketch.. – SCRAP IT WITH ATTITUDE
I saw this sketch a few days ago, but hadn’t printed it out today… As soon as I saw it again today, my brain working overtime was putting two and two together.. Just yesterday I saw the #55 challenge for RCS was to USE METAL.. My creative brain went straight to MALE LO… I knew exactly what I wanted to do and have to say, its has turned out EXACTLY how I had imagined it! I’m soooo excited!
I usually make a point of never double linking a LO.. However since this one is for a FB group and a Challenge Blog, I thought it would be ok this time… I see that a lot of other craft bloggers do this, so I read thru the blog rules and it says that I could, so hey, why not!
Anyway, without futher ado, here is my LO..
Pride & Joy
Mick & his Harley
This LO is of my brother having a photo shoot with his them new Harley… He hasn’t had it for very long, so I suppose it can still be classed as NEW..
He and his wife both love going for rides on it.. They even bought her a special custom seat so her bum wouldn’t get sore on it all day.. lol..
My brother has quite a few “big boy toys” but he has always worked very hard for them and is very deserving to be proud of them all!
-Here is a close up of the cluster under the photos..
It has a metal embellishment, with some skull washi and silver chain on top..
- This is the embellishment cluster on the bottom corner..
PLENTY OF METAL THERE!
- and MORE METAL in the top embellishment Cluster…
I absolutely LOVE this page and have to admit I’m actually quite proud of my creation!
I hope you all like it too!!!!
And now that I’m finished here, why not drop over to the Red Carpet Studios challenge blog to see what their DT’s made, get some inspiration and link up your own entry to this challenge!!!!
