Just Add Ink – #23

Posted by on November 23, 2013

I have been a busy little crafter today..
First off I’m want to share with you a LO that I have completed for the current challenge at one of my fav challenge blogs, Just Add Ink, and to make it even better, its an Aussie blog! :)

#23 – Just Add Me…

Wow, it is hard trying to find a photo of ME!!  lol..
As they mention on the challenge post, we are so used to scrapping about our family and friends, so I have sooo many photos of everyone else, BUT ME! lol..

Anyway, I found this photo, taken last year.. I was bridesmaid at my cousin’s wedding.. I quite like this photo and as soon as I found these papers, I knew straight away they would work perfectly for me.. :)

still finding me…

Journaling tag says:- As a little girl I thought every Fairy Tale was real and one day I would have my Happily Ever After! However I’m still learning so much still in my mid-20’s. I know I’m not crazy, everyone gets this way sometimes. I’m still finding me!

As I finished this page a song “Save Me” by Jordin Sparks came on.. It is one of the songs that I am relating to lately… I’ve loved that song years, and have been in a few situations where this song has fit… So I thought I’d add a line of it to my journal tag..

I didn’t really have a plan for the layout of the design when I started this page, I just let things stir up and steer my in the direction I felt..
I had such fun with mists on this page.. As you can see the clock mask has been misted beside the photo.. But those flowers there too have been misted, with 3 different sprays..

Also, I used some gorgeous lace ribbon that came in a package from Seaside Scrapping a few weeks ago.. I would never usually be drawn to this type of ribbon lace cause its so big, but I asked the owners to put together a mystery package for me, and this came in it.. I am totally loving it now! lol..
These Prima wooden buttons are actually from a RAK I received from Wanda.. An American crafting friend.. They come in a packet of 12, so I’m glad I still have a few of these left to use on another project too..
