Wooooo have I got something to show you tonight!!!
I am SOOOO excited to share with you this layout that I completed for the Scrap The Girls blog, July challenge..
“Paint and Texture Paste”
Without a doubt, this is my most favourite page that I made this weekend..
I had so much fun with it, and it all very seemed to slot into place! It has turned out better than I could have imagined!
So I started off with a ridiculous and awesome amount of misting sprays and a couple of frames to create masking effects…
However for this challenge, it required the use of Paint and Texture paste, so the next layers were the texture paste and some white paint..
I really like taking progress or base photos before I start sticking the photos and embellishments down, as it helps to really highlight the work that doe go into that first part of the layout that could otherwise be missed or overlooked when completed..
Now onto some close ups..
Here is the left side of the photo.. I painted the chipboard Chandelier, then coated it with some Shimmer too..
This is the top right cluster of flowers and the painted chipboard Butterfly..
Bottom right cluster..
Finally this is the top right corner..
Thanks for letting me share this layout with you and I hope you may have gotten some inspiration from this layout.. I am totally in love with this one and am now looking forward to creating some masculine versions for my boys too..
Please do head over to the Scrap the Girls challenge blog and link up your entry too…
